Our Beginnings

THE EARLY VISION

Sunrise Christian School was the first ACS school. It commenced as a result of a vision from the late senior pastor of Adelaide Christian Centre, Pastor Leo Harris. His vision was endorsed by the Church, and a School Steering Committee was established in 1977 to put plans in place for a Biblically based, Christ Centred Christian School. Pastor Leo personally donated ‘seed money’ of $20 to start the school project. In 1978 Sunrise Christian School commenced at the Fullarton Campus. Today the organisation maintains this vision .
